Stäubli Electrical Connectors has introduced a new range of 4 mm Ø stackable connectors and test leads products. The new range offers what Stäubli calls a “complete portfolio tailored to the customer”.

Originally founded in 1892 as a small workshop in Horgen/Zurich, today Stäubli is an international group headquartered in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, delivering solutions to a number of industrial sectors around the world from three core activities: Connectors, Robotics and Textile. Stäubli Electrical Connectors was founded in 2015 and provides electrical connection solutions for automotive, railway, steel, pharma and chemical, aeronautics, power transmission and distribution, electronics, test and measurement and more markets.

The new range of test leads with stackable plugs come already mounted on both sides for easy handling. The new stackable connectors further mean the test leads can be used for self-assembly. The safety test leads are designed in accordance with IEC/EN 61010-031 and also have UL certification for the North American market. The additional cable wear indicator completes the safety test lead offer.

The stackable connectors have a rear socket (tap socket) that enables cascading and additional connection of several test leads. This feature is required in particular in training facilities or in testbeds with breakout boxes, where signal distribution and simultaneous measurement is very important. Stäubli test leads are also used in many other fields of electrical engineering.

Given the growing importance of the E-Mobility and Battery application, the colour orange has been added to the company’s safety portfolio as a standard colour. Having eleven standard colours and six different standard lengths means a “wide-ranging portfolio tailored to the customer”.

On December 8 – 9, 2021, Stäubli will host its Pharma Impulses event, which aims to answer modern mechanical engineering questions by cleverly integrating robotics. The event will bring two experts, Christian Kollecker, Director Aseptic Technologies at Harro Höfliger Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH, and Rudolf M. Weiss, Global Head of Pharma at Stäubli Robotics, onto the virtual live stage.

You can find more information about Stäubli Electrical Connectors and its new range of 4 mm Ø stackable connectors and test leads products on its website.
