After a successful debut of the Embedded VISION Europe Conference two years ago, the second edition will take place from 24-25 October 2019. The event will be held at the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart again, directly at Stuttgart Airport.

Embedded VISION Europe 2019 is the leading conference in Europe focusing exclusively on the areas of this disruptive technology and is organized by the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA), supported by Messe Stuttgart, the organizer and host of the biennial VISION international trade fair.

Embedded VISION Europe is aimed at developers and users of embedded vision technologies from all industries. The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of technologically leading companies presenting their embedded vision competence with innovative products, applications and services. Already the first Embedded VISION Europe 2017 was a great success, so that a strong growth of visitors and exhibitors is expected this year. The conference provides a platform for information exchange and peer-to-peer networks.

David AustinThe European Machine Vision Association is pleased to announce that David Austin of Intel Corp. will open the Embedded Vision Europe Conference 2019 as Keynote Speaker. David Austin, Sr. Principal Engineer at Intel Corp., will give insights to flexible and practical AI for industrial deployment in his key note at the second Embedded Vision Europe conference.

He will address the challenge that industrial AI based solutions often struggle to keep up with the state of the art due to the nature of product development and validation cycles vs the speed at which the AI technology and understanding is advancing. It doesn’t need to be this way.  Careful consideration of few important AI and computer vision tools and techniques can give outsized benefits relative to pool of available options.
