In Five Questions: With New Imaging Technologies’ General Manager, Francois Coursaget

by | Jun 29, 2021

“In Five Questions” is exactly as it sounds. We get to know the leading figures of the computer vision, machine vision and robotics industries by asking five simple questions. The ancient Greek author Euripedes said, “question everything”. Here at MVPro, we don’t need that many questions. We only need five good ones. In this first edition, we have New Imaging Technologies’ (NIT) General Manager, Francois Coursaget.

NIT was founded in 2007 as a spin-off of the French National Research Center for Telecommunications, with the goal of designing and producing image products based upon patented high dynamic range response sensors.

The company is now a vertically integrated source for SWIR sensors and cameras, with in-house manufacturing technologies. NIT’s SWIR InGaAs line is the sole activity from NIT with a  product portfolio ranging from small low-cost SWIR sensors, high-speed line arrays and large format focal plane arrays VGA and SXGA.

If you’d like to be considered to be interviewed for future editions of “In Five Questions”, please contact us (editor@mvpromedia.com).

If you liked what Francois had to say, you can find more information about New Imaging Technologies on its website.
